§ 51.11 POLLUTION.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to pollute or attempt to pollute any stream or source of water for the supply of the City Water Department.

§ 51.12 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully or carelessly break, injure, or deface any building, machinery, apparatus, fixture, attachment, or appurtenance of the City Water Department. No person may deposit anything in a stop box or commit any act tending to obstruct or impair the intended use of any of the above-mentioned property without the written permission of the Director of Public Works.

§ 51.13 BONDED PLUMBER.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any plumber or pipefitter to do any work upon any of the pipes or appurtenances of the system of waterworks, or to make any connection with or extension of the supply pipes of any consumer taking water from the system until the plumber or pipefitter shall have first deposited a bond in the amount and style as required by the City Council with the city.
   (B)   All plumbing shall be done in the manner required by the Director of Public Works.
   (C)   The bonded plumber shall be at all times subject to the inspection and approval of the Director of Public Works and it shall be further unlawful to cover or conceal willfully any defective or unsatisfactory plumbing work.

§ 51.14 PROHIBITION OF LEAD PIPES, SOLDER, AND FLUX.
   (A)   Any pipe, solders, or flux used in the installation or repair of any residential or nonresidential facility which is connected to the public water supply system shall be lead free.
   (B)   For purposes of this section, LEAD FREE shall mean:
      (1)   Solders and flux: not more than 0.20% lead, or the amount as set forth by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services; and
      (2)   Pipe and pipe fittings: not more than 0.25% lead, or the amount as set forth by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
