§ 33.19 DRUG ABUSE RESISTANCE EDUCATION (DARE) OFFICER.
   (A)   The village DARE officer shall provide the community and the Fairless School District with a trained, uniformed police officer to work with students in course work which emphasizes self-esteem and resisting peer pressure, and helps students understand the consequences of using drugs and alcohol.
   (B)   Said DARE Officer shall be trained and certified by the Ohio Police Officer Training Academy.
   (C)   One Village DARE Officer may be appointed by the Mayor and with the consent of Village Council.
   (D)   The Village Police DARE Officer shall be paid as set by Council, which shall be in addition to said officer’s current wage and salary.
