Property unclaimed for a period of 90 days shall be sold by the Chief of Police at public auction, after giving due notice thereof, by advertisement published three times in a newspaper of general circulation in such county provided, however, that vehicles shall be sold in accordance with R.C. § 737.32 et seq. Such proceeds shall be paid to the Clerk-Treasurer of the municipality, and be credited to the General Fund.
