(A) There shall be a Superintendent of Water Pollution Control whose duties shall consist of the supervision and care of the local sewage plant and such other duties as the Council of the village shall from time to time assign the said Superintendent. The position of Superintendent of Water Pollution Control shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor and confirmed by a majority vote of members of Council.
(B) The salary of the Superintendent of Water Pollution Control shall be as set by Council.
