In case of the violation of the foregoing rules and regulations, or any part thereof in the doing of any plumbing work, the approval of the plans and description thereof shall be nullified by the Mayor, and notice thereof shall at once be given to the plumbers having charge of the work and doing the same, and the owner of the building or his or her agent, and thereupon all work under such plans and descriptions shall immediately cease, and work thereunder shall not recommence until such plans and descriptions have been reapproved by the Street Commissioner.
