The village shall appoint for the purpose of the enforcement of these rules and regulations and the provisions thereof, an inspector of plumbing. The inspector so appointed shall not, during his or her term of office be engaged or interested in the plumbing business or the sale of any plumbing supplies, nor shall he or she act as agent, directly or indirectly, for any person or persons so engaged.
