§ 93.28 SPECIFICATIONS FOR SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION AND RECONSTRUCTION.
   (A)   No person shall construct, reconstruct or cause to have constructed or reconstructed a sidewalk in the public right-of-way without first having obtained a permit from the Street Superintendent for the work. It is the responsibility of all contractors to ascertain that a permit has been obtained for the work to be done.
   (B)   No permit is required where the improvement is directed by ordinances under the village assessment construction program.
   (C)   It is the duty of the person who undertakes to make a sidewalk improvement to obtain the appropriate permit, perform the work in a workman-like fashion and complete the work to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
