§ 91.03 TREE BOARD.
   (A)    There is hereby created and established a Tree Board for the village, which shall be three members of Village Council, who shall be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Village Council, the Mayor and the Village Administrator. The Council members of the Tree Board will be appointed on January 1 of each year.
   (B)   It shall be the responsibility of the Tree Board to study, investigate, counsel, develop and administer a written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting and removal of trees and shrubs in parks, along streets and in other public areas. Such plan will annually be presented to Village Council and upon its acceptance and approval will constitute the official comprehensive village tree plan.
   (C)   The Tree Board shall promote and supervise the establishment of a tree inventory for street and park trees, and such inventory shall be updated every three years.
   (D)   The Tree Board, when requested by Village Council, shall investigate, consider, make finding and report and recommend upon any pruning, removal, planting or special matter or question coming within the scope of its work.
   (E)   The Tree Board will elect Board officers, create policies of operation of the Board, and keep minutes of all Board meetings which will be filed with the Village Clerk-Treasurer.
