§ 73.17 BEER AND LIQUOR IN A MOTOR VEHICLE.
   (A)   No person shall sell, consume or possess an open container of an intoxicating beverage on the property of the village.
   (B)   No person shall sell, consume or possess an open container of an intoxicating beverage on any public place within the boundaries of the village.
      (1)   This section does not apply to intoxicating beverages which has been lawfully purchased for consumption on the premises where bought of a holder of an A-1-A, A-2, D-1, D-2, D-3, D-3A, D-4, D-5 or D-5A permit issued by the Ohio Department of Liquor Control.
      (2)   Intoxicating beverage includes all beer, malt liquor, intoxicating liquor, wine, spirituous liquor and mixed alcoholic beverages.
   (C)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $100.
