(A) The Fire Marshal and Chief of the Volunteer Fire Department is delegated the responsibility for the organization and operation of the fire department known as the “Bremen Community Fire Department,” and said Chief shall report to and be under the direction of the Town Council and shall have such other duties and obligations as may from time to time be assigned to him or her by the Town Council.

(B) The Chief shall be responsible for providing to the Town Council an annual report, to include the activities of the Volunteer Fire Department, which report shall be submitted on or before the first meeting in January of each year for the prior year’s activities, or at such other time, and also such other reports, as the Council may from time to time require.
