(A) The Town Police Chief is appointed by the Council and is subject to dismissal by the Council.
(B) The duties of the Police Chief include:
(1) Enforcement of all laws and ordinances;
(2) Directing and taking charge of the town’s Police Department;
(3) Performance of all duties of the Traffic Engineer as per § 70.098 of this code; and
(4) All other duties necessary to promote safety and security within the town.
