(A) Each driver employed to drive a taxicab pursuant to a permit issued under the provisions of this chapter shall be required to have a public passenger chauffeur’s license issued pursuant to and under the provisions of this state, and such license shall be carried with said driver at all times of operation of the vehicle and be displayed upon demand to any police officer for inspection.
(B) A violation of any of the above provisions, or of the provisions of this code or the traffic laws of the state or the town, shall be a basis for a revocation of the taxicab license granted hereunder.
