§ 97.12 INDIGENT BURIAL POLICY.
   (A)   It shall be the policy of the cemetery to furnish, without charge, a gravesite for a deceased indigent person who was a resident of the town at the time of death or a former resident of the town who was residing in a health care facility or a county facility for indigents at the time of death. In order to qualify, the former resident must have moved from the town to one of the above facilities prior to becoming deceased.
   (B)   The cemetery charges for grave openings and closing shall apply and be billed to the proper authority that is responsible for the indigent’s other funeral and burial expenses.
