§ 72.17 SIGNS INDICATE WHERE STREET PARKING PROHIBITED.
   (A)   The Chief of Police/Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized to erect signs indicating no parking up either or both sides of any street adjacent to any school property when such parking would, in his or her opinion, interfere with traffic or create a hazardous situation. When official signs are erected indicating no parking upon such streets, no person shall park a vehicle in any such designated place. The Chief of Police/Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized to erect signs indicating no parking upon any street when the width of the roadway does not exceed 20 feet, or upon one side of a street as indicated by such signs when the width of the roadway does not exceed 33 feet. When official signs prohibiting parking are erected upon narrow streets as authorized herein, no person shall park a vehicle upon any such street in violation of any such sign.
   (B)   The Chief of Police/Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect signs upon either or both sides of any one-way street to prohibit the standing or parking of vehicles, and when such signs are in place, no person shall stand or park a vehicle upon such side in violation of any such sign.
   (C)   The Chief of Police/Traffic Engineer is hereby authorized to prohibit parking on either or both sides of any street in the town between the hours and on days of the week specified by him or her and to erect signs so indicating.

§ 72.18 PARKING FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES PROHIBITED.
   No person shall park a vehicle upon any street or highway for the principal purpose of:
   (A)   Displaying such vehicle for sale; or
   (B)   Washing, greasing or repairing such vehicle, except for repairs that are necessitated by an emergency.

§ 72.19 NIGHT PARKING PROHIBITED; EXCEPTION.
   No person, except physicians on emergency calls, shall park a vehicle on any street in the Central Business District for a period of time longer than 30 minutes between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. of any day.
