§ 30.21 SPECIAL MEETINGS; PROCEDURES.
   (A)   Generally. Special meetings may be convened at any time other than the regular scheduled meetings. Such meetings may be called by the President of the Council or by a majority of the members of the Council.

   (B)   Procedures.
      (1)   The call for such special meetings shall be written or printed and shall be signed by the person(s) calling, sealed with the town seal and countersigned by the Clerk-Treasurer.
      (2)   The service of such notice shall be made by the President or his or her appointed agent as follows:
         (a)   By delivering a copy of said notice to each Council member or by leaving a copy at his or her usual place of residence;
         (b)   By posting a copy of the notice at the Town Hall; and
         (c)   By mailing a copy of the notice to all news media which have filed an annual written request in accordance with the provisions of I.C. 5-14-1.5-1 et seq.
      (3)   All notices required hereunder shall be given at least 48 hours before the meeting, except when the meeting is called to deal with an emergency as defined by I.C. 5-14-1.5-5(d), in which case, notice of said meeting will be made by posting a copy thereof and by giving the same notice to all news media who have requested notice as is given to Council members.
