§ 51.057 METERS TO BE INSTALLED BY THE UTILITY.
   (A)   The electrical energy, unless otherwise specified, shall be measured by a meter or meters of standard manufacture installed by the utility.
   (B)   If more than one meter is installed on different classes of service (each class being charged for at different rates), each meter shall be considered by itself in calculating the amount of any bills. Where building codes or other governmental regulations require a separate service for lighting or indicating the exits of buildings, each meter shall be considered by itself in calculating the amount of any bills.
   (C)   When, for the convenience of the utility, more than one meter is installed on the same class of service in the same premises for the same customer, the sum of the registration shall in all cases be taken as the total registration.
