For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
BICYCLE. Any device upon which a person may ride which is propelled by human power through a system of belts, chains or gears, having two (2) or three (3) wheels, one (1) of which is at least twenty (20) inches in diameter, in tandem or tricycle arrangement or a frame size of at least fourteen (14) inches.
BICYCLE LICENSE RECEIPT. That ownership card issued by the Police Department of the city.
BICYCLE PLATE. The license tag or decal designated by the code, to be permanently affixed to the bicycle and which bears a unique number permanently assigned to that bicycle by the state.
