§ 32.53  PURCHASE OF PROPERTY WITHOUT A DECLARED PUBLIC PURPOSE OR USE.
   Neither the Board of Public Works and Safety, the Common Council, any elected or appointed official or employee of the city may purchase or authorize the purchase or receive by donation, on behalf of the city, any real estate without full compliance with the provisions and requirements of this subchapter, and if there is no declared public use or purpose for the real estate to be acquired, any acquisition in violation of this subchapter shall entitle either the Board or the Common Council to void the acquisition by resolution.
