(A) The City of Brazil shall be divided into 4 Councilmanic Districts pursuant to I.C. 36-4-6-5 known as Wards for the purpose of electing members to the Common Council of the city, with the boundaries of the Wards being as follows.
(1) Ward 1 shall consist of all of that part of the city which lies north of the centerline of National Avenue and east of the centerline of Forest Avenue.
(2) Ward 2 shall consist of all of that part of the city which lies north of the centerline of National Avenue and west of the centerline of Forest Avenue and east of the centerline of Sherman Street.
(3) Ward 3 shall consist of all of that part of the city which lies west of the centerline of Sherman Street and north of the centerline of National Avenue, plus all of that part of the city which lies south of the centerline of National Avenue and west of Forest Avenue.
(4) Ward 4 shall consist of all of that part of the city that lies south of the centerline of National Avenue and east of Forest Avenue (State Road 59).

(B) The Councilmanic Districts shall be as follows.
(1) Councilmanic District 1 shall consist of Ward 1.
(2) Councilmanic District 2 shall consist of Ward 2.
(3) Councilmanic District 3 shall consist of Ward 3.
(4) Councilmanic District 4 shall consist of Ward 4.
(5) Councilmanic District At-Large shall consist of the entire city.
