§ 156.231  INTENT.
   It is the intent of this subchapter to regulate and control the location, erection, number, and maintenance of signs and matters relating thereto within the city and the jurisdiction area of the Advisory Plan Commission in order to promote public safety, health, and general welfare of the community. These regulations are specifically designed to:
   (A)   Provide for uniform regulations and orderly development of signs consistent with established policies and ordinances of the city.
   (B)   Prohibit hazardous and dangerous signs.
   (C)   Provide a desirable and attractive living environment through harmonious and uniform signage.
