(A) The Fiscal Branch shall be composed of the City Clerk-Treasurer as the Fiscal Officer of the city and head of that branch.
(B) The Clerk-Treasurer shall perform his or her duties pursuant to I.C. 36-4-10-5 and any other duties as the Common Council may, by ordinance, require.
(C) The Clerk-Treasurer may appoint 1 Deputy Clerk-Treasurer who shall be paid solely from funds appropriated for the Office of Clerk-Treasurer.
(D) The Deputy Clerk-Treasurer shall work under the exclusive direction of the Clerk-Treasurer and shall serve at the pleasure of the Clerk-Treasurer.
