(A) This subchapter repeals and replaces other ordinances adopted by the city to fulfill the requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program.
(B) However, this chapter does not repeal the original resolution or ordinance adopted to achieve eligibility in the Program. Nor does this subchapter repeal, abrogate or impair any existing easements, covenants or deed restrictions.
(C) Where this chapter and other ordinance easements, covenants or deed restrictions conflict or overlap, whichever imposes the more stringent restrictions shall take precedence.
(D) In addition, the Common Council shall assure that all National Flood Insurance Program regulations and laws (310 Indiana Administrative Code, 6-1-1, I.C. 14-28-1-22 and I.C. 14-28-1 through 14-28-6) are met.
