§ 71.02  TRAFFIC-CONTROL SIGNAL LEGEND.
   (A)   At all places where the silent police officers are placed, drivers or operators of vehicles shall be controlled by the warning or direction given thereby.
   (B)   Whenever traffic at an intersection is alternately directed to proceed and to stop by the use of automatic colored lights or the words "GO" or "CAUTION" and "STOP" these lights are terms shall indicate as follows:
      (1)   GREEN or GO.  Traffic facing the signal may proceed, except that vehicular traffic shall yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and vehicles lawfully within a crosswalk or the intersection at the time the signal was exhibited.
      (2)   CENTER or MIDDLE YELLOW or CAUTION.  When shown following the green or "GO" signal. Traffic facing the signal shall stop before entering the intersection unless so close to the intersection that a stop cannot be made in safety.
      (3)   RED or STOP.  Traffic facing the signal shall stop before entering the intersection and remain standing until the green or "GO" signal is shown.
