(A) Any person found to have used a city water service line or the water therefrom without having the line or water metered and acting without written permission of the City Waterworks Department in violation of this section shall be fined $2,500; this section shall not preclude the Board of Public Works and Safety from collecting from the person a reasonable sum for water used in violation of this section, in addition to the fine herein established.
(B) Any person violating this section, shall have his or her water service discontinued until proper application for water service and meter has been made and approved.
