§ 53.069  DUTIES OF THE SUPERINTENDENT.
   (A)   The Superintendent, under the direction of the Waterworks Committee and the Common Council, shall have charge of the City Waterworks.
   (B)   It shall be his or her duty to see that all rules and regulations are complied with; that the conditions of all contracts by or with the city relating to the Waterworks are faithfully complied with; he or she shall audit all accounts and claims and submit the same to the Waterworks Committee with the information that will enable them to act advisedly thereon; with authority from the Waterworks Committee; he or she shall purchase all supplies for the City Waterworks.
   (C)   He or she shall keep a correct account of all persons using water; he or she shall see that the accounts are kept according to the rules of the State Public Service Commission, and report to it at least once a year; he or she shall collect all the water rents and deposit same with the City Clerk-Treasurer at least once each week.
