Whoever violates any of the provisions of this Chapter shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars ($500), imprisoned for not more than six (6) months, or both, and shall pay costs of prosecution for each offense and shall stand committed until such fines and costs of prosecution shall be paid or discharged by due process of law. Each day during which any violation hereof shall continue shall constitute a separate offense punishable as hereinabove provided.
