Plan review fees
Plan review fees for new construction shall be determined as follows:
(1)
New construction one, two and three family dwelling units
$50.00 per 1,000 square feet of building area as measured
from the outside of the building foundation.
(2)
Additions, alterations, accessory uses, garages or miscellaneous
construction (new) $25.00 per 1,000 square feet of building or structure.
(i)
Sewer Tap In Fee.
   No person shall make any connection with the Village sewerage system unless the owner, agent, lessee, tenant or occupant of the property to be served by such connection has made application for a permit for such sewer connection. The fee for such permit shall be one thousand dollars ($1,000). Such fee shall be payable when the application for a connection is made.

Professional Review Fees. (Subdivisions)
(1)
Prior to making application for approval of a preliminary plat which is not part of a planned residential district (PRD), the developer shall deposit one thousand dollars ($1,000) with the Village, to be deposited in a fund in the name of the developer to cover all actual costs incurred by the Village Engineer, Solicitor or Planning Consultants in reviewing the preliminary and/or final plat, improvement plans or any other matter necessary for review of a major subdivision.
   If, during the review of any plan, the balance of the fund is reduced to less than five hundred dollars ($500.00), the developer shall be notified in writing that the balance of the fund must be returned to one thousand dollars ($1,000). The Solicitor shall cause the final plat approval to be withheld until all actual review costs are reimbursed by the developer to the Village.
   "Actual costs" shall include, but not be limited to, costs incurred by the Village for review and supervision of proceedings by the Village Engineer, Solicitor or Planning Consultants as well as the costs of notification, advertising, court reporting, and any other costs incurred in administering proceedings under the Village's Codified Ordinances.

In making application for any building permit, an applicant shall deposit fees as follows to cover actual costs incurred by the Village Engineer in reviewing the preliminary and final ("as-built") grade plans:
A.
Single-family dwelling - detached $600.00.
B.
Single-family dwelling - attached $600.00 plus $100.00 /d.u. (d.u. = dwelling unit).
C.
Multi-family, more than three dwelling units - $800.00 plus $100.00/d.u.
D.
For any nonresidential grade plan review, such fees shall be determined by the Village Engineer and approved by the Mayor.
