No person, firm, corporation, general contractor or subcontractor engaged in performing work in the building trades shall perform any work within the Village without first obtaining a certificate of registration from the Building Commissioner. Such work shall include, but not be limited to, dry wall/plastering, plumbing, electrical, masonry, carpentry, roofing, siding application, sewer and water installations and repair, heating and cooling, steel erection, concrete and asphalt placement and repair, excavation, demolition and moving. For purposes of this chapter, any reference to the Building Commissioner shall include his designee.
