At the request of the Street Commissioner, the Chief of Police shall cause signs to be erected upon such streets or parts of streets when such streets or parts of streets are about to be cleaned or are being cleaned of dirt, rubbish or snow, or when any improvements in or upon such streets or parts of streets are about to be or are being installed or repaired, or when any trees within such streets or parts of streets are about to be or are being sprayed, trimmed or removed. When such signs have been erected, no person shall park a vehicle during the time when any work is being done on such streets or parts of streets.
