(a) The Recreation Commission shall meet on the first Wednesday of each month. The date of a regular meeting which would fall on a holiday may be changed by action of the Commission at any previous meeting provided that every member be notified by letter or by distribution of the minutes carrying a second of the change. As practicable, the Commission shall use the latest edition of Robert’s Rules of Order in conducting its meetings. A majority of the voting members of the Commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business but a lesser number may adjourn the meeting from time to time.
(b) Special meetings may be called by the Chairman at any time, by providing notice as required by Ohio R.C. 121.22. No business shall be transacted at any special meeting which does not come within the purpose or purposes set forth in the call for the meeting, unless all members of the Commission are present and agree to the consideration of the additional items.
(c) All meetings of the Commission shall be conducted in accordance with Ohio R.C. 121.22 “Open Meetings,” and the Commission shall attempt to include an opportunity for the public to address it.
