(a) Full time members of the Service Department shall be entitled to an
amount up to five hundred and fifty dollars ($550) as an annual uniform allowance for each year, which is defined as January 1st to December 31st.
(b) This uniform allowance will be paid directly to vendors or as reimbursement to eligible employees upon presentation of receipts of the purchase of approved uniform items.
(c) Such allowance shall be for the purchase of uniform items from a list of authorized items prepared by the Street Commissioner and approved by the Mayor.
(d) If any full-time employee of the Service Department leaves Village employment within the first two (2) years of his or her employment, said employee shall reimburse the Village fifty percent (50%) for all monies expended for his or her uniform allowance and maintenance allowance.
