§ 93.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who abandons a motor vehicle on any public or private property without the consent of the person in control of the property, or any person who fails, neglects, or refuses to remove the abandoned, wrecked, junked, partially dismantled, or inoperative vehicle, or to house the vehicle and abate the nuisance in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
   (B)   Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine in an amount as set by Council from time to time, or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days, or both. Each day that a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
