§ 18-403  NOTIFICATION TO OWNER(S).
   It shall be the duty of the township to notify the owner of each structure subject hereto, in writing, either by personal service or certified mail (or first class mail in the event of the refusal of the certified mail) to connect the same to the public sanitary sewage system as herein provided within 60 days after receipt of such notice. Any owner of a structure who cannot, due to causes beyond his or her control, comply with the provision of this Part within the 60-day period shall apply to the Township Secretary within said time period for a time extension of up to six months in duration. Said application shall be made on a form to be furnished by the township and shall contain a voluntary agreement on the part of the applicant under which the applicant shall agree to commence paying the regularly monthly charge for sewage service upon the normal commencement date (e.g., the date on which the connection would have been required had no extension been sought), even though actual connection to the sewage system may not be accomplished until some later date within the said extension period.
