(a) Council does hereby combine the offices and duties of the Clerk and Treasurer of said Village into one office to be known as the Clerk-Treasurer.
(b) The Clerk-Treasurer shall perform the duties provided by State statute and/or Village ordinance for the Clerk and Treasurer and all statutes and/or ordinances pertaining to the Clerk and Treasurer shall be construed to apply to the Clerk-Treasurer.
