(a) Each resident of the village may elect to limit or prohibit any solicitation at their residence by posting a notice, clearly visible, on their front door or porch advising that no solicitors are invited or permitted upon their premises.
(b) All solicitors are required to look for such notice and to refrain from knocking, ringing a bell, or calling out to the residents of any dwelling that has posted such a notice. The solicitor shall not leave any material and shall immediately depart from the premises.
