For the purpose of this chapter the following definition shall apply unless the context indicates or requires a different meaning.
(a) "Solicitor" means any person who travels from place to place, attempting to secure a donation from a resident or to sell or take orders for the sale of goods to be delivered or services to be performed at that time, or at any time in the future.
