Upon inspection and approval of the completed sidewalk, curb and gutter, by the Enforcing Officer, the bond shall be returned to the applicant. In the event of the failure of the applicant to complete the installation of the sidewalk, curb and gutter, meeting the Village regulations governing such installation, the bond shall be forfeited and applied toward the completion of the installation meeting Village requirements.
