Other than as provided in Section 557.04, whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not exceeding one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) on a first offense. On each offense thereafter, the person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Each day's violation may constitute a separate offense.
