557.08  APPEAL PROCEDURE.
   (a)    When any person seeks relief from an order issued pursuant to this chapter, he or she may appeal in writing or in person to the Village Administrator within three (3) business days after receipt of notice and state in writing the reasons that relief should be granted as well as the name and address of the person or persons responsible for abating the nuisance described in the notice.
   (b)    If the appeal is denied by the Administrator, the notice of abatement shall continue until remedied. If the appeal is upheld, the person or persons receiving the original notice shall be relieved of the responsibility of the citation.
   (c)    If the nuisance is not remedied in the additional time allotted or if the owner, lessee, tenant, occupant, or person or persons having care of or in control of such premises disputes the finding, then he or she may file for protective order in the Miami County Municipal Court - civil division. The Village may answer and defend this action through its solicitor. The order of the Miami County Municipal Court then becomes a final appealable order.
