(a) Whoever violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a fourth degree misdemeanor on a first offense. On a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree, and on each subsequent offense within one year of the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor in the second degree, with punishment as provided for in the Ohio Revised Code as to maximum fines and jail sentences.
(b) Each twenty-four hour period after the expiration of the required notice may be considered a separate offense for the purpose of this penalty section.
