(a) The sewer rates for sanitary sewer service provided to residents and other customers shall be assessed according to the following schedule:
Base Sewer Rates
First 6,000 gal. or less per quarter used within the Village of Bradford:
Base rate - $28.00 per month
plus C.I.C. - $2.50 per month
Total rate - $30.50 per month
First 6,000 gal. or less per quarter used outside the Village of Bradford (“county services”):
Base rate - $40.00 per month
plus C.I.C. - $2.50 per month
Total rate - $42.50 per month
(b) As presently billed, surplus sewer charges shall be charged per the following schedule:
Surplus Sewer Rates
Any use over 6,000 gal. used within the Village of Bradford | $3.50 per thousand gal. |
Any use over 6,000 gal. used outside the Village of Bradford (county services) | $5.10 per thousand gal. |
(c) The sewer rates are in effect if the customer pays the utility bill by the tenth day of the month. If paid after the tenth day of the month, the amount of the bill is increased by a ten percent (10%) penalty.
