(A) No person, including any private police officer, special police officer, private detective, or other person privately employed in a police capacity shall wear any uniform similar in appearance to the official Bowling Green Police Division uniform.
(B) Nothing in this section shall prohibit any Bowling Green police officer from wearing his or her official uniform even though employed in a private capacity.
(C) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
