§ 70.66 AMENDMENTS.
   Amendments to the traffic-control file may be made by order of the Safety Director and/or the Traffic Commission. Any order by the Safety Director shall be reviewed by the Traffic Commission within 90 days of the Safety Director’s temporary order. Upon the Traffic Commission’s determination, an approved traffic control regulation shall remain a part of the traffic control file if such sign was a temporary order of the Safety Director or shall become part of the traffic control file if the traffic control regulation originated in the Traffic Commission. In any event, all signs are subject to the review of the City Council within 90 days of approval by the Traffic Commission. Once an order is issued by the Traffic Commission and included in the traffic control file, notice shall be served upon City Council by the Safety Director of the new order. If City Council fails to issue legislation within 90 days to the contrary, the traffic control order shall become a permanent part of the traffic control file.
