(A) No light or utility pole shall be located or placed upon any of the streets, sidewalks, or public ways without giving prior written notice to the Public Utilities Director and securing applicable permits and receiving permission therefore. Such permission may be revoked by the Public Utilities Director when public convenience or necessity requires the removal or relocation of such poles.
(B) No underground utility shall be located or placed below any street, sidewalk, or public way without giving prior written notice to the Public Works Director, and securing applicable permits and receiving written permission therefore. Such permission may be revoked by the Public Works Director when public convenience or necessity requires the removal or relocation of such utility.
(C) No machinery, material, or equipment used in the installation of any utility shall be left unaccompanied in the streets, sidewalks, or public ways. Such materials or machines shall not interfere unreasonably with the public use of the streets or public ways. All items associated with the work shall be immediately cleaned up and removed as soon as the work is complete.
