Detectable warnings shall be constructed on the walking surface of each curb ramp where required by current federal ADA regulations or where also deemed necessary by the Public Works Director. The detectable warning surface must meet the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines in effect at the time of construction and must be the city’s acceptable standard.
