(A) No person shall, within the corporate boundaries of the city, use the drilling technique known as hydraulic fracturing, sometimes known as fracking, or use a similar water pressured technology, when drilling for oil, natural gas, or other minerals, with the exception of drilling for fresh water or ground water.
(B) No person shall, within the corporate boundaries of the city, store in wells or other outdoor locations brine or liquid waste generated by fracking operations.
(C) Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree, with each day constituting a separate offense.
