§ 35.50 INSPECTION CHARGES.
   In all instances where the duly authorized officers, agents, or employees of the city are required by their duties to perform inspection work pursuant to the requirements of the ordinances of the city as are now effective or as may be hereinafter enacted, the person, firm, or corporation performing the work or activity requiring the inspection shall pay to the city a sum of money equal to the hourly rate of the city officer, agent, or employee accomplishing the inspection for the city, times the number of hours devoted to the inspection, plus the cost of workmen’s compensation retirement system, and other related overhead expenses, and plus transportation expenses of the inspection for each mile driven incident to the inspection, all as established by the Finance Director of the city.
