§ 31.36 TERM AND COMPENSATION OF CLERK.
   (A)   The Clerk of Council shall have those duties Council from time to time shall determine.
   (B)   The compensation for the Clerk of Council for his or her regular duties in attending Council meetings, keeping the minutes thereof, and other statutory duties shall be as set by legislative authority, as defined in § 33.01 of this code. The compensation for all services performed in connection with preparing correspondence for individual members of Council which are not part of the statutory duties of the Clerk, shall be at the rate established by Council for the hours expended by the Clerk.
