(A) A person who intends to operate a NHV on village streets and roadways shall first register it with the village and obtain a permit for its operation. The permit shall be visibly displayed on the slow moving vehicle placard at the rear of the vehicle.
(B) The NHV permit shall be valid for three years. The permit fee, per vehicle, shall be set by the Village Board (and is currently $30 for a three-year period). The fee may be reviewed as needed and changed by a majority vote of the Village Board taken at a regular Board meeting.
