(A) The NHV may be operated only on village streets and roadways where the posted speed limit is 35 mph or less. However, the NHV may cross a road or street at an intersection where the road or street has a posted speed limit of more than 35 mph.
(B) A person operating a NHV may not make a direct crossing upon or across a highway under the state’s jurisdiction, except at an intersection of that highway with another public street, road or highway. However, no direct crossing upon or across a toll road, interstate highway or controlled access highway is allowed.
